6. Early Moring climb to the Batur Volcano |
|
| Description: | | A journey for the experienced hiker! We begin at 4:00 a.m. and will climb
to the top of the Batur volcano (1717 m). Following the 2-hours climb
you’ll be rewarded with the sunrise from the summit . By clear skies one
has a breathtaking panorama view all the way to Mt. Rinjani on Lombok. On
the summit a simple breakfast will be prepared for you, and eggs will be
boiled in a boiling spring. In addition, the daring will be able to near
the four craters. When it’s time to descend, one can chose from among three
paths. Please notice: By all means take sturdy shoes, long trousers and a
sweater with you! |
