9. Barong Dance, Bird- & Reptile Parks |
|
| Description: | | The Barong dance is no doubt not only the most famous of all the Balinese
dances but also the dance which is most frequently performed. Experience
the dance of juxtaposed natural forces in the village of Batubulan. In an
impressive dance the Barong, the symbol of good, and the witch, Rangda, the
embodiment of evil, portray the battle to maintain the balance between these
two forces in daily life. Following this performance you’ll enjoy both the
beautiful Bird Park as well as the Reptile Park in Singapadu. In the
tropical Bird Park situated on two hectare [convert into acres!!!] of land
you’ll see 250 different species of birds. Last but not least you’ll then
visit the Reptile Park with its King Cobras, Giant Pythons and Albino
Snakes, etc. |
