Tanah Lot

Tanah Lot is located in the southwest on Bali not far away from Denpasar and Kuta. The temple is one of the most famous temples on Bali. On reason is the beautiful location, an other the characteristic architecture.

The temple becomes a tourist trap in the last few years and it is one of the most visited attractions on Bali. That’s one reason why it should be no problem to get there. The other reason is the small distance to the large tourist centers.

After bypass all the souvenir stalls you will usually left alone and can relax. We recommend to go in the evening to Tanah Lot, because of the beautiful sunset. Join this while having a dinner or just watching the sun diving into the red coloured water. At low water it is possible to walk to the temple, but only Hindus are allowed to go to the top of the temple which is situated on the top of a cliff.
